Madison Thomas is an award winning filmmaker and educator based out of Winnipeg, Manitoba. Thomas works as a Writer, Director and Editor on several productions across Canada and her own films have played festivals worldwide. 

 

Thomas is known for creating unique blends of genre and format in her work which often reflect on her own experiences growing up in the inner-city as a mixed race Indigenous woman.

One of the co-founders of the film collective based out of Winnipeg, the collective have created over 20 projects for film, TV and web.

In 2016, Madison was a featured TEDx Winnipeg speaker with her talk "Arts in the Hood".
